Excellence in Medical Imaging

Unlike some outpatient centers that are limited to MRI, PDI Radiology provides services that range from standard x-rays to ultrasound to specialized CT and MRI. Our on-site radiologists and physician assistants monitor examinations, assure patient safety, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The MRI and CT services at PDI are accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Services at PDI include:

  • MRI, MRA, MR Arthograms (High-field - 1.5 Tesla)
  • CT (including helical studies, CTA and 3D)
  • Ultrasound (including vascular, abdominal, and pelvic)
  • Vascular screening (ultrasound and ABI)
  • Standard Radiography (all-digital x-ray, low radiation exposure)
  • Fluoroscopy (including upper GIs, video swallowing studies, lumbar punctures)
  • Interventional procedures such as GI tube care, epidural & facet steroid injections, arthrocentesis, and biopsies
  • Varicose vein therapy (EVLT laser vein treatments and sclerotherapy)
  • Arthrography: MR, CT and Radiographic

High quality digital Siemens equipment allows the staff to tailor exams to provide excellent diagnostic information at low radiation doses. Because our radiology department is entirely electronic, you can rely on quick report response times and consistent, accurate results. For the comfort and well-being of our patients, our highly experienced radiology nurses and radiologists provide sedation as needed.

Rapid Reporting

We understand how important it is for our patients and physicians to receive exam results in a prompt manner. PDI offices are equipped with a picture archiving communication system (PACS) that digitally captures, transmits and stores imaging studies, eliminating the need for film. Fiber optic broadband connections between the centers and reading stations allow rapid image distribution. Electronic transmission and storage of diagnostic images creates a more timely, secure and efficient system for radiologists to analyze important patient information. The result is a faster, more efficient service to our patients and their doctors.

Prompt Scheduling

Scheduling an appointment is easy! One of our friendly patient coordinators will answer any questions you may have regarding your exam, and can arrange for a convenient appointment time. In many instances, same day appointments are available! Our extended hours and Saturday services accommodate most everyone’s busy schedules.

Most Insurance Accepted

We accept most insurance plans and are a Medicare and Medicaid provider. We also accept workmen’s compensation claims and offer discounts for cash payments on the date of service.
